Our process begins by getting to know your household, lifestyle, and individual staffing needs. Once you submit an initial inquiry, you’ll receive our Client Profile Questionnaire, which allows us to develop a detailed understanding of the position and your ideal candidate.
Once your search is formally underway, we source and screen qualified professionals before introducing candidates who align with your requirements. Selected candidates move through the interview process, and when appropriate, we recommend a 2–5 day in-home trial so both your household and the candidate can experience working together before making a long-term commitment.
Our goal is not simply to fill a position, but to create a thoughtful, lasting match.
How much does it cost to hire household staff in Montana?
To begin a search with Montana Luxury Estate Staffing, a non-refundable $500 Engagement Fee and signed Service Agreement are required. This fee is credited toward your final Placement Fee when a successful hire is made.
For long-term placements, our Placement Fee is 15% of the candidate’s agreed-upon annual gross compensation.
For short-term or temporary placements, our Placement Fee is 25% of the candidate’s total agreed-upon compensation for the assignment.
The cost of employing a household professional will vary depending on the position, experience required, schedule, responsibilities, location, and other aspects of the role. We’ll discuss these details with you as part of the consultation and search process.

For a standard search with a clearly defined position and requirements, the typical placement timeline is approximately 2–3 months. For more specialized searches requiring highly specific experience, qualifications, or expertise, the process may take approximately 2–6 months.
We guarantee that you will receive your first qualified candidate within 1–2 weeks of beginning your search. From there, we work thoughtfully and diligently to identify additional candidates as needed, ensuring that each professional presented is carefully matched to your household’s unique requirements.

Do you place temporary and seasonal staff?
Yes. Montana Luxury Estate Staffing provides both long-term and short-term staffing placements.
Short-term placements can be an excellent solution for seasonal needs, temporary household support, travel, extended stays, or other situations where an experienced private service professional is needed for a defined period of time.

If a placement does not meet expectations within the applicable replacement period, we are committed to supporting a successful transition in accordance with the terms of your Service Agreement.
